Green tea
Green tea has always been a favourite tea type in Asia and increasingly so in the West. This popularity is due to the wide variety of types and flavours. Associated health benefits of green tea due to high antioxidant and polyphenol levels are also another reason for the rise of green tea drinking worldwide. Green teas are unoxidised so they have a lighter, more vegetal taste that can range from sweet mild flavours to intense savoury ones.
